Anna's shawl (named after my daughter) is a rectangular shawl
knitted with 2 strands of 1ply cashmere. A single strand of laceweight could be substituted.
It features a traditional shetland pattern, Print o' the Wave, with
an I-cord edging along the long edges and a scalloped border along the short edges. |

Tessa's shawl is a pseudo-triangular shawl - it has a centre panel
similar to a faroese shawl. It is made with a single strand of cobweb cashmere and weighs just 75 grams - a little over 3 ounces. The lower border is knitted first and then the stitches are picked up along the top edge of the border and knitted upwards towards the neck edge. |
